NM82 is an NM flexible coupling size for industrial shaft connections. Its size data gives a first check for bore capacity, operating speed and torque. The finished hubs are machined to the actual shafts, so the driver and driven bores may be different.

The coupling size does not define the finished bore. State the diameter, keyway and fit for Shaft 1 and Shaft 2 separately. If axial space is restricted, include the available hub envelope or an assembly drawing.
