When to consider this product

Consider a gear coupling when the machine is already designed around a toothed coupling, or when the required duty, shaft size and service practice call for that construction.

How it differs from an NM coupling

Gear couplings and NM couplings use fundamentally different load paths. Gear-coupling selection must follow the gear series data and lubrication requirements, not NM size references.
