وصلة العمود المرنة NM عبارة عن دبوس أسطواني مصنوع من بعض المواد غير المعدنية، يتم وضعه بين جانبي الوصلة والسطح الداخلي للحلقة الخارجية، وهو جهاز لنقل عزم الدوران من خلال دبوس العمود لتحقيق الاتصال بين نصفي الوصلة.
وصلة عمود مرنة من نوع NM بين منزلق مصنوع من قماش الباكليت أو البولي يوريثان، مناسبة للسرعات العالية وعزم الدوران الكبير، ولا تتعرض للصدمات الحادة بين الوصلتين. يبلغ أقصى عزم دوران مسموح به 850 نيوتن متر، وأقصى قطر للعمود 50 ملم.
