A good NM coupling RFQ can fit on one page. The goal is not to write an engineering report; it is to remove the few ambiguities that change model choice or machining.
Minimum useful RFQ

| Quantity | Sample, pilot or production batch; list mixed models. |
| Attachments | Drawing, current part photos and labels/markings. |
